Inside Sales Representative

Western Packaging Solutions is a supplier of bulk packaging solutions and related products, serving the North American market and based in the Montreal suburb of Kirkland.

Our new and fast-growing business unit is expanding its sales team.  We are currently looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to develop our customer base and contribute to increasing sales. This entry level sales position reports to the business unit leader and involves developing an existing customer base as well as new business development activities.  This is a great opportunity for an individual seeking to join a growing business unit at the early stages and grow their career along with it!

Responsibilities / Requirements

• Business development: prospect businesses and industries through research, identify new customers, and cold calling
• Support and grow sales to your accounts
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and strong customer rapport
• Secure all the specifications needed to build a good quote
• Present quotes (factoring costs, freight, duties, storage…)
• Update, organize and maintain customer files and customer master list
• Help create and improve our process
• Escalate any issues to senior management

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and understand basic product specifications (learn the language)
• Phone sales experience, cold calling is a definite plus
• Customer service driven (find a way)
• Basic business acumen skills and negotiation
• Team player, organized and flexible
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a start-up vibe
• Familiarity with logistics and freight forwarders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google
• Excellent communications skills, written and spoken
• DEC in Commerce or BCom is an asset
